1.Material Mixing:
- First, select the appropriate rubber raw materials and additives (such as vulcanizing agents, fillers, antioxidants, etc.) according to the formula of the seal.
- These raw materials are mixed in a specific proportion and thoroughly blended in an internal mixer or an open mill.
2.Extrusion Molding:
- The mixed rubber material is then extruded through an extruder. The die of the extruder determines the cross-sectional shape of the seal.
- The temperature and pressure must be strictly controlled during extrusion to ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface smoothness of the seal.
3.Vulcanization:
- The extruded rubber seal needs to go through a vulcanization (heating) process to cure.
- Vulcanization can be performed in a continuous vulcanization line or a compression molding machine, and the vulcanization temperature and time need to be controlled according to the characteristics of the rubber material.
4.Cooling and Cutting:
- The vulcanized seal needs to be cooled to stabilize its size and properties.
- The cooled seal is then cut to the required length or wound into rolls.
5.Inspection and Packaging:
- The seals undergo quality inspection, including dimensional checks, appearance inspection, and physical performance tests.
- The seals that pass the inspection are packaged and prepared for shipment.
